How does Embody Health work?

Start with a consultation with one of our board-certified providers, or book an initial appointment. You are seen by a clinician who creates a treatment plan tailored specifically for you. Use insurance where appropriate and cash pay for other services.

Do I have to be a member?

No. Clinical visits are billed to your insurance or paid per visit, with or without a membership.

What does a visit cost without insurance?

$250 for a new patient and $150 for a follow-up. Pelvic floor therapy is priced separately. See Insurance & Pricing for the full rates.

Are labs and prescriptions included?

No. Where your insurance covers them they are billed to your plan, and what you pay depends on your individual insurance plan coverage.

We accept HSA and FSA. We do provide superbills.

Is pelvic floor therapy covered by insurance?

Pelvic floor therapy is self-pay for now, and we are working to add insurance for it. We provide superbills you can submit to your plan, and we accept HSA and FSA. Rates are on Insurance & Pricing.

What kind of classes do you have?

Our classes are held in person at our Carolina Beach location. We provide infrared heated and unheated mat pilates, yoga, barre, sculpt and strength classes.

I am new to group fitness. Where do I start?

The Classic. It is our foundational pilates practice, unheated and low impact.

What should I bring?

Water, a mat and comfortable clothes. Grip socks are optional. Mat rental is $5.

Can I take class pregnant?

Our warm and unheated class options are pregnancy friendly and offer modifications.

I just had a baby. When can I come back?

You can book an appointment with one of our providers to be cleared to return to exercise. Mom + Me Pilates can be taken with baby from six weeks.

There is a five-minute grace period, then the doors lock. Late fees and cancellation fees apply.

Cancel at least 12 hours before class. A late cancellation or a no-show is $15, charged automatically. Founding members get two waived a month.

Freeze is $15 a month with 30 days’ notice. Cancellation is in person or in writing with 30 days’ notice.
