Add Embody to your phone’s home screen and it opens like an app: full screen, one tap, with booking, the class schedule and our care team right there. Nothing to download and no app store.
You are already using Embody as an app on this device. The steps below are for adding it to another phone.
Use Safari. Chrome on an iPhone has the same option, but it opens inside the browser instead of full screen, which is the part worth having.
Open heyembody.com in Safari.
Tap the ••• button beside the web address.
Some iPhones show the share icon there instead, a square with an arrow pointing up. Either one is the right button.
Tap Share, then scroll down to Add to Home Screen.
It sits below the row of apps, in the list of actions.
Check that Open as Web App is on, then tap Add.
That toggle is what makes it open full screen rather than as a bookmark in Safari.
Use Chrome.
Open heyembody.com in Chrome.
Tap the ⋮ menu in the top right corner.
Tap Install app, or Add to Home screen.
Which one you see depends on your version of Chrome. They do the same thing.
Tap Install to confirm.
No address bar and no browser buttons. It looks and moves like any other app on your phone.
There is no app store download and it takes up no meaningful storage. There is also nothing to update: you always have the current version.
Pages you have already opened still load without a connection, and our phone number is always on screen if something will not load.
Press and hold the icon for shortcuts straight to booking, the patient form and the class schedule.
Call or text 910-659-8577 and we will walk you through it, or ask at the front desk next time you are in.
