We hire advanced practice providers, pelvic floor physical and occupational therapists, licensed therapists and counselors, registered dietitians, IBCLCs and registered nurses.

An active, unrestricted license in your discipline
No open or pending board action
An NPI, or eligibility for one*
Eligible for credentialing with commercial payers
Professional liability coverage
Graduate training*

Director interviewMeet our Director of Clinical Operations and admin team. This is your opportunity to ask company, HR and clinic-specific questions while our management team gets to know you better.

Executive interviewMeet Lily and Kevin. This fifteen minute video call is an opportunity to talk all things clinical with our founders, as well as hear more about our day-to-day operations.

Formal offerCongratulations! Accepting a formal offer, pending a cleared background check, is the first step in onboarding at Embody.

Background checkAfter accepting, you will receive a consent form for a standard background check.

HiredYou are officially the newest member of the Embody team.

CredentialingWe start payer enrollment. Plan on 90 to 120 days for most commercial payers.

First patientsYour schedule opens, our patient care coordinator starts routing, and you see patients.

Common questions

Am I an employee or a contractor?

Both arrangements exist depending on discipline, schedule and volume.

Do I need to be credentialed already?

No. Our team will credential you under our group practice. Plan on 90 to 120 days for most commercial payers.

Can I keep my own practice?

We are not currently accepting large group practices. Clinicians with small group practices are encouraged to reach out to us directly at info@heyembody.com.

Do I have to live in North Carolina?

Only if you are seeing patients in person at our flagship location. Virtual providers can live anywhere and practice where they are licensed.

What about the studio?

Clinical and movement are separate. Instructors are hired through Embody Movement Studio.

How long does the process take?

It depends on how you bill. Cash-pay providers can start within a few weeks of an offer. If you are billing insurance, the timeline is set by credentialing, which runs 90 to 120 days for most commercial payers.
