Embody was founded by a military family. Military spouses and dependents can be seen virtually or in person. If you use TRICARE, our patient care coordinator will confirm your plan’s referral requirements before your first visit.
We work alongside the care you already have. With your permission we send visit notes and results to your primary care provider or OB/GYN so everyone is working from the same information. When a concern calls for an examination, imaging or a specialist, we refer you to a provider near you and stay involved through the hand-off.
Labs are ordered to a draw site near you in Jacksonville, or in Carolina Beach when you are already headed to the coast. Most locations take walk-ins, and results come back to us directly. Prescriptions are sent to the pharmacy you choose. Your provider reviews results with you at a follow-up visit rather than posting them without context.
